Fellow Business Leaders,

Throughout Beacon’s COVID-19 response actions over the past several weeks, we have been laser-focused on providing exceptional care for our patients as well as working tirelessly to keep our associates and the communities we serve safe.

As we continue to navigate this new normal, we have tapped into our Human Resources, Employee Health, Information Systems, Operations, Communications, Marketing and Digital teams to develop a “playbook” to outline new health and well-being protocols and practical recommendations for businesses to consider when returning to work.

This information is a guide only and may be tailored to your own business’s particular needs. The recommendations are gleaned from guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention as well as the World Health Organization.

This guide covers a wide range of topics, including:

  • Preparing your business to reopen
  • Cleaning and disinfection procedures
  • Staggering shifts and lunch breaks and other social distancing strategies
  • On-site health screening
  • Protocols for isolating associates who become ill at work
  • Helpful checklists and screening tools

Certainly, this has been a challenging time for everyone, and reestablishing a workplace in which associates feel comfortable doing their jobs safely takes a large amount of consideration and planning. It is our hope that by sharing this playbook we can help you and your organization embrace a new normal confidently and begin charting a course for a brighter future ahead.

Stay safe,

Kreg Gruber, CEO
