You’ve probably heard the saying, “Take care of yourself before you take care of others.” There’s been no better time to remind ourselves of the importance of self-care, says Elkhart General Hospital Chaplain Dean Heisey. He encourages us to recognize our limits so we know when it’s time to “fill our tanks" before they’re empty, and he wants us to remind ourselves that we’ve made it through tough times before. We will make it through this, together.
